Starting Point is more than an “introduction to church membership” class. It’s an opportunity to learn more about what Brookwood Community Church has to offer, but it is also a chance to get to know other people better. Group size is limited to allow participants the chance to talk. In addition, Starting Point asks the question, “Who are you, and how can we best serve you?” Facilitators spend a lot of time listening and asking questions. Starting Point happens at least once a month in the office conference room at 1240 3rd Avenue East in Shakopee. Starting Point participants will:

• Learn more about Brookwood Community Church
• Meet and get to know others who attend
• Have a chance to start setting personal spiritual goals
• Learn more about Connection Coaching, Small Groups, and service opportunities
• Find someone who will listen to what you want and need from your church
