Summer at Brookwood
Brookwood’s Summer Schedule will begin on Memorial Day Weekend, May 28, as we shift to one worship service at 10 am. Summer is a great time to worship all together as a congregation and to lean into a different rhythm of life. It gives God unique and wonderful chances to speak to us as we prioritize him!
Children’s Ministry will begin the summer schedule on Sunday, June 4. There will be programming for nursery-aged children, preschoolers, and elementary-aged children at 10 am. Parents are being invited to sign up for summer Children’s Ministry so that our school-year staff can attend worship. We look forward to seeing all of our volunteers back in the fall. Summer children’s ministry still provides excellent programming and helps children to connect with God on a deeper level.
Student Ministry does not have Sunday morning programming during the summer. Students in grades 6-12 should look for information from the Student Ministry about summer events, the Chicago 17 Mission Trip, and other opportunities to connect with God and other students this summer.
Summer is a time of many special events at Brookwood. We have a special sermon series planned, Camp Love2Serve, Baptism and the Church Picnic, the Chicago 17 Mission Trip, the Red Zone Rush, and the Outdoor Worship Service. During the summer we will also be working toward major events coming this fall as we plan and pray toward a future home for Brookwood Community Church. Check out the rest of our website for more information. Join us this summer at Brookwood!
